Community Voices

Hear from those who have participated in our programs:

The Cultural Knowledge program has been transformative for our community. Our young people are connecting with Elders and learning traditional practices that were at risk of being lost. It’s brought a new sense of pride and belonging.

Uncle David Community Elder, Moree

Through the Creative Arts Initiative, I’ve been able to develop my skills as an artist and connect with galleries and markets I never had access to before. It’s not just about selling artwork—it’s about sharing our stories and culture.

Jessica M. Artist & Program Participant

The Youth Leadership Program gave me confidence and direction. I’ve now gone on to university and am studying to become a teacher so I can give back to my community. Blackwattle showed me what was possible.
